World Famous Female Impersonators If you have never been, this is a must see! I haven't been in years and am looking forward to laughing uncontrollably again. This is not for those who may be easily offended, though. Darcelle XV & Company have been entertaining audiences in all walks of life for over 37 years with Las Vegas-style cabaret revues of Glitz, Glamour and Comedy. Stop by when you are in Portland and you will be glad that you did! We have travelled the States presenting a show that you have to see to believe. Company parties are welcomed at Darcelle XV Showplace. Showtimes: Wednesday and Thursday - 8:30 p.m.

UPDATE:
Their policy has changed. For large groups, I am required to give my credit card number and will be charged for everyone whether they show or not. This event was posted twice, with different people RSVPing on one or both, so this is the final request for updated RSVP's.
So, I don't like to charge ahead of time, but must for this event. We have about 55 people total, but everyone will need to update a yes or maybe, as well as pay $15. on paypal (secured payment). You will get your money back when you show up. That way, we will have an accurate count, and I won't lose $100's of dollars. :)
Please update and pay by Wednesday so I can confirm our Saturday reservation to get the best seats. I am so looking forward to this!!! Have you been to Greek Cusina? It's a lot of fun. We had a group of 48 last time we went and everyone had a great time. Dinner is about $10-$18, plus a $3 event fee (new) and then you get a great table without having to wait in line, pay a cover charge, etc.
There is a belly dancer who interacts with the crowd, group dancing, plate breaking, and celebrations (embarrassment) for birthday's, etc. After the show, there is a DJ and dancing.
We will start dinner at 7pm. I may also invite two other singles groups to join us. Don't miss out! There are also 2 spots left for our incredible camping trip in August. If you are interested, email me directly! I am SO looking forward to this trip! :)

We will have dinner and see a movie.
The McMenamin Theaters are having special movies and events for Mother's Day.....so....we' re going to go to Laurelhurst Theater. The best movies are playing after 9:30 pm, but Gran Torino is at 6:30. It got incredible reviews and sounds good. The theater serves beer, wine, pizza, and other foods. So, we can eat through the movie. Then, if anyone is up for it, there are two good movies afterward if anyone wants to stay. Or, we could go elsewhere after the movie.
We will meet right inside the doors at 6:00. The movie starts at 6:30. Many have said that parking is sometimes hard around there and some movies fill up quickly....so plan for that. I will try to get there early to save seats. If anyone lives close or is off early enough, feel free to go in, spread coats around for 20ish people. There may be 45+ people, but we'll start with 20-25 for now.

FRIDAY March 20th @ 7:30 Harvey's Comedy Club. George Kanter is an outstanding comedian that has performed in comedy clubs all around the country. His "clean" style of comedy is the most unique feature that has made this comic one act to see! He is the official opener for Frank TV's and former Mad TV comedian Frank Caliendo. You don't want to miss out on this breath of fresh air! Our feature act is not too shabby himself. Drake Witham, an award-winning journalist has performed on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham" and the "Late Late Show" with Craig Ferguson. With a short career under his belt he favorably won the Seattle Comedy Competition and has spent his time performing for our troops. As in added bonus for all the Dwight Slade fans out there! The highly anticipated release of his DVD "Right & Raunch" is kicking off opening night with George and Drake on Thursday March 19th @ 8pm. Dwight will be hosting the show and press party with laughter! Please only respond if you are 100% sure so that all tickets will be used.

We will meet at 9 am to hike the most beautiful mountain in the gorge. There will be two meeting places; one on the Portland side and one in Vancouver to carpool. Bring a picnic lunch and layers of clothing. Depending on the group size and interests, we may split into groups. One group can do the short hike and another the longer one.
I will provide more details next week. Plan on bringing a picnic lunch for yourself. This is my favorite hike, and I'm sure it will become one of yours as well. People who want to meet on the Oregon side will meet Glenn who is helping with those coming from Portland. Meeting info:
I-84 exit #18 "Lewis and Clark State Park" just east of Troutdale. There is a gravel parking lot between the off ramp and freeway. I will be there about 8:45am and we can leave at 9:15am. We can travel down I-84 to The bridge of the gods and then back west to Beacon Rock and the trail head which is across the street from Beacon Rock. Glenn drives a Blue 1985 Toyota Pickup. It really holds only two people, so he would like to ride with someone else if possible. Cell number: 503.880-0071 (will only be on that day). People on the Washington side can meet me (Shannon) at 9am in the Shari's parking lot. It is on the corner of 164th St. and McGillvary Blvd. in East Vancouver, close to I-205 and SR 14. I am in a red Toyota Celica. We will leave at 9:10 am.
Both groups will meet in the parking lot across from Beacon Rock around 10am, depending on traffic. Once both groups have arrived, we'll head up the mountain. Remember to layer clothes, and bring plenty of food and water. I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

Game nights are a great way to get to know others in an ideal environment where we can all hear one another, mingle, and have fun. I have many games, but feel free to bring yours as well.

A small, indoor chair, if you have one Many times, people have told me it's their first time at an event. Please know that all of our events are about 1/2 people who have come before and 1/2 new people...so no need to feel like you're the only new person. Everyone is very friendly and we make sure that all people feel really welcome. :)

Meetup Description If you LOVE chocolate, don't miss this huge festival of the stuff. It was a lot of fun last year with plenty of free gourmet samples at nearly every table/stand. You'll find it inside all three buildings at The World Forestry Center, so who cares if it's rainy or snowy outdoors. Meet us Sat. Jan. 31st 1:00-5:00pm (It can take a good 3-4 hours to visit all the tables and hear a seminar or
two, so we'll be heading in no later than 1:15pm. I recommend not eating anything sweet beforehand, so you can take in as many delicious samples as possible. Group Rate: 10 or more people is $7.00/person at the door or $8 w/o the
